Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Kentwood is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Kentwood follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My favorite place. I love the plants most of all. The one thongs its missing is a seasoning area like at the battle creek location. I love the live music and everyone who works there is always nice. The grocery options are unique.

Great day at Horrocks! Wine, flowers and a variety of food. I also love their produce selections they always have a wide variety. The only downfall was at the Kentwood location they don’t let you try the vinegars and oils that you can at the Lansing location. They are pre bottled and you just have to take a shot if you like it. Still a great trip!!

What a fun experience! My fiancΓ© and I went on a "cheese adventure" this weekend. They have so many types of cheese! We got fresh asparagus and potatoes and New York strip on sale for just over $5! They have loads of homemade jam/jelly including a strawberry rhubarb which is incredible! There are so many types of foods and candies. It's just a fun place to explore. It's definitely more expensive though, but that's because it's also an experience. We paired the Mascarpone with the strawberry rhubarb jelly and a fresh baguette and wow! This place makes for a great Saturday adventure. They even had morel mushrooms. All my photos are from our yummy meals with everything we got from horrocks!

Fantastic selection of plants to choose from.common Michigan native to exotic plants of islands afar. But do not, I repeat do not buy produce from this store ever. Especially fruit. I have brought it to a managers attention twice now. The produce is Molding. Constantly. This needs to be fixed before the health department gets involved. I'd hate to see my favorite plant store shut down because of an inept produce team. Also avoid the employee with short curly brown hair and glasses. Typically seen working the front register on the left when you walk in. Rude and lacks most respectful human interaction skills. Have reported her as well to find the same issues.

Woah! This place is amazing!! I was so overwhelmed, I cannot remember everything I saw. They have a free coffee bar with high quality coffee. They were out of cream when I stopped (I used powder), but they do usually have it. I tried Sumatra and it was wonderful! There were also several people walking around and drinking wine. They stock all kinds of exotics including seasons, spices, meats, cheeses, candies, and so on. My wife was particularly interested in their bay leaf options which are surprisingly cheaper than standard grocery stores. They also had authentic saffron which is really expensive, but you pay that for the good stuff. They also stock alcohol including beer and wine, but I did not see any kind of liquor. They had a HUGE assortment of gluten-free items including Schar and Red Mill. They also have a restaurant like setting for pizza, salads, deli sandwiches, popcorn, gelato and sorbetto. Here are some prices I recorded so you have an idea of how they compare to other places: - Exotics Pierogies - $4 a bag (2lbs) or $7 a box (12) Pasty - $5.49 Macarons - $2.25/ea or $12 for six Venison - $24.99/pack Ground Venison - $13.29/pack Venison French Onion Burger
